If you’re wondering whether to have Reiki, I’d say ‘go for it!’

Most of the time, people are called by Reiki. This may sound all kinds of ‘woo’, but it’s happened too much for me to discredit. They just know when the time is right.

Reiki is healing for the emotional, the spiritual, the energetic and the physical body, so it helps with all kinds of things! In fact, there’s not much it can’t help with.

  • Reiki is a great support for self development and spiritual awakening.

  • Reiki is supportive and comforting.

  • Reiki can help you rest and relax.

  • Reiki can provide stress and anxiety relief.

  • Reiki can help you learn more about yourself. Reiki is good for insomnia.

  • Reiki is good for pain and symptom management.

  • Reiki promotes emotional balance.

  • Reiki accelerates self healing ie: illness and injury.

Reiki healing is good for everything!

There is no limit on how many times a week or month you can have Reiki, and the benefits of Reiki will stay with you in the hours or days after your treatment.

Reiki healing is accessible for most people (it’s a fully clothed treatment and you need nothing but an open mind and heart) and Reiki is safe during pregnancy. In my experience, babies in the womb love Reiki and it’s really special for mum to feel the baby’s response to the Reiki energy. As a practitioner, I love Reiki sessions with pregnant women - it’s like doing two people at once.

I wrote more about what to expect in a 1:1 reiki session with me, at my studio in Leeds - you can read all about it here. And if you’re interested in learning more about Reiki training, you can read more about it here.
