No - no experience is required.
Some people come to do their Reiki training because they have experienced Reiki as part of their healing journey and they want to learn more.
Personally, I had barely even heard of Reiki when I felt called to do my level 1 training.
-
Level 1 is an introduction to Reiki and is very much about self healing. Whereas Level 2 is a deepening of the practice in preparation for becoming a practitioner - if that is what you wish to do. Many people do level 2 for their own learnings, and have no intention of becoming practitioners.
-
All my training courses take place over two days. Usually 6 hours per day.
In general, I ask that level 1 is completed at least three months before level 2, and that someone has been level 2 for two years before they complete master level/level 3.
Level 3 is taught in two parts - master practitioner and master teacher and I ask for a gap of three months between them.
After level 2, some case studies need to be completed before you receive your level 2 certificate - there is no time limit on when these can be completed.
