In this week’s newsletter, I’ve been discussing all things ‘healing journey’ - what that phrase means, how it gets banded about and how healing isn’t linear and can often happen when we’re busy doing life.

This weekend is the Spring Equinox - a time when light and dark are equal. When, in the northern hemisphere, the light will win out, and the sun will get stronger and brighter. Roll on Summer!!

It’s the perfect time for having a declutter, taking stock and setting plans for the warmer months - below are some journal prompts to help you reflect on your healing journey so far, and to maybe gain some insight on where you might go next.

Grab yourself a cuppa, a notepad and pen. Choose the prompts that resonate - as many or as few as feels good - and see what clarity comes through for you…

  • Think of something you handled recently that the version of you from 10 years ago might have struggled with. What has changed?

  • What advice would the present-day you give to the version of you who was struggling most?

  • What are you no longer tolerating that you once accepted as normal?

  • How has your relationship with yourself changed over the years?

  • When do you notice yourself being kinder to yourself than you once were?

  • What is something you once thought you’d never get through, but did?

  • Where do you now trust yourself more than you used to?

  • What habits, rituals, or practices now support you that didn’t exist before?

  • What parts of your story do you understand differently now?

  • What did your younger self need most, and how do you offer that to yourself today?

  • What grief or pain have you learned to carry differently?

  • Is there a part of you that has slowly come back to life over the past few years?

  • When you look back at your past self, what would surprise them most about who you are now?

  • What seeds have you been quietly planting in your life?

  • What feels ready to grow now that wasn’t ready before?

  • What is becoming clearer as the days grow brighter?

As ever, if you need any extra support, you can find out more about my offerings here.
